Are you taking good care of yourself this holiday season?

Ho-Ho-Ho, We Didn't Think So! That's why Foot-Joy wanted to recommend some ways you might be able to keep your energy level higher, your immune system stronger, your stress meter lower, your mind clearer, and your heart more joy-filled during this time of year and beyond.

  • Book a massage which has been shown to increase circulation, reduce stress, pain, and depression, and improve sleep and immunity. What does this spell? An abundance of E-N-E-R-G-Y!

  • Get a chiropractic adjustment to help keep your body in tip-top shape for all your holiday travels, shopping, and decorating,  and challenging winter chores like shoveling and carrying heavy boxes and bags.

  • Enjoy some acupuncture which can support you in maintaining healthy habits during the holidays--or enable you to get back on track if you slip up--by helping you deal with stress, pain, cravings, and a lack of motivation for things like, oh I don't know, regular exercise?!

  • Take a yoga class and you may leave feeling more calm and centered as well as more flexible, stronger, and more balanced, which all translates into a win for both your mental and physical well-being.

  • Try some meditation or mindfulness to practice being more fully present and aware of the places you are, the things you're doing, and the people you're with -- instead of thinking about what's next on your list -- which is a key piece of really savoring this amazing time of year.

Of course, we also recommend ringing up your favorite reflexologist and booking a relaxing and rejuvenating timeout for yourself. The benefits of a session typically will carry on well after you leave the chair and help you navigate the wonderful and wild days ahead.

PLEASE NOTE: Foot-Joy Reflexology is very happy to refer our clients to health and wellness practitioners for massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and more, so please ask us for our recommendations next time you're in the chair or email us.
